Moose, I'll give you Louis CK is funny as shit. But I still think George Carlin saw through more of the matrix than most comedians. Every time I watch Louis I think Carlin.

You're right, Carlin was one intelligent dude. The topic was funniest alive though, and Carlin, unfortunately, has been dead for quite a while. If we're going with dead comedians, I'd have to change my choice to Mitch Hedberg. Really interesting life story, and he's the only comic I listened to and actually thought that the guy was a genius.
