When I despair, I remember that all through history the ways of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants, and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end they always fall. Think of it--always.
I was meditating under a tree the other day when I was suddenly overcome with the sense of presence and connectedness tot he nature around me, I could feel the trees, the grass and the wind within me its difficult to describe. I was one with these things it seemed.
Lately I've been worrying about something you may find trivial or even laughable or non existent, but I have my own personal evidence that I have seen and I won't try to "convert" you it would be wrong of me.
I have been worrying about the greater powers of the world, the government and the people who pull their strings and the things I've heard they do, the injustices and the cruelty of the world that people suffer and commit.
and I came to a realistation that "nature is the only constant" On a winters day you don't see man made objects falling covering nature. Natural disasters are unavoidable, a trees roots can destroy the foundation of a houses.
All structures are unstable.
All man made structures. Tyrants and powers have risen and fallen. The Persian empire, the British empire even the Vatican is on its last legs. Yet the trees and the wind still exist and mountains still grow and the Earth still shakes.
Man can only try to control it. So far all man has done is try to use it for benefits.
