So guys today was the day I renewed the 2nd year of hosting of the naturalfreedom forums.

I'm just asking for you guys to cordially to share what you consider good in order to keep this forum alive another year, so I'll share the paypal link for the ones who feel they have to give a little bit back.
The total I had to pay was around $90 USD, so I leave you guys with this.
paypal.me/naturalfreedom176
Feel free to send me a PM once you donated, you name and the quantity, it could be whatever quantity of donation you want, all is welcome.

Only via paypal for the moment

Cheers!

Donated also, it's not much but if everyone chips in it doesn't take much to cover the cost.

Thanks, for taking over the running of the forum. I know I really appreciate you taking the time to do it :)

I was thinking in the future we can get enough funds together to buy a very long term hosting service with automatic renewal. Or, we could just burn this site down and go our own ways!

I'd like to do whatever I can to help the site stay up for whoever may come across it. It's a great resource it would be a shame to let Kidd!!'s and peregrinus' advice disappear.

Wow, sorry. I've been inactive for awhile so I've only just seen this.

I'd be happy to help.

Yeah, and almost ten years since I've (and many of us) joined.

Anyway Dali, check your PMs

Guys it's a little sad times for me, since I got unemployed for more than 4 months so I can no longer be able to have the forum up by paying the hoster by myself. I'm running out of money and yet I wasn't able to find another job, also having trouble with some pets and are draining my savings to maintain them with good health.
So if any of you have suggestions or backup plan to have the forum up or if someone just want to carry the forum all by himself, just DM me and we can chat about it.

Hope it finds you well, and again sorry for the news.

Dali.

Sorry to hear about your circumstances Dali, hope things improve themselves with your efforts.

Been considering this since your post and I find myself considering the place of the forum in this current world and times. People seem to be consuming information from different sources and in other ways.
The number of new users and discussions has been falling off more and more with time and in a lot of senses the forum did not recover from the last move and transfer, imho.

am still considering but am strongly wondering about the wisdom and value in moving it somewhere else and trying to keep it limping along.. or maybe its time to do the kind thing and let it expire.

Throwing my thoughts into the pot

I echo all of this. :ugeek:

Have the feeling people / young ones don't use forums anymore.
Tiktok / X / YT / Snapchat / FB / ... They totally replaced text forums.

Attention span and free time, is not up to par to reading "endlessly". Sad but seems accurate.

Anyways, your choice Dali. Please let us oldtimers know before the deadline of killing it or something else.
