Thoroughly recommend a watch

Thank you for posting Flux, had not seen it, glad I have.

This post is gold indeed. Thanks very much Flux.

This highlights so many things from many other threads / gems it's uncanny.

I'm sure she's not even aware of all she points at in a way, as some are very subtle indeed.

I recommend also to check out the comments, which are very pertaining and interesting too.

Have watched the videos recommended by Grinus too, and a couple more.

Fitting that she's an ex stripper too.

META: And this is why, no need for perfect recommendations on why you recommend it or whatnot

Have never read Mode One from ARC, but just skimmed through the beginning, and he mentions the 80s porn "Talk Dirty to Me". Totally recommend it too.
Badly paraphrased:
"Can I be really honest with you for a moment, [...] you have a face for me, and I have a face for you, and in the process of all these different faces, we lose our perspective of one another, [...] Then we become distant, because we lose our trust with one another, then we become insensitive,[...]Do you wanna fuck?" Will stay in my mind for a long time

Maybe this could be described with one word - confidence. When you believe in yourself and know that you are the shit then you got this "power". That's why we talked a lot about pimps and pimp tight mentality, those guys knew that they are the best, they didn't want to be nobody else. This ain't nothing new for those who know that females want us more than we want them but women are smart and don't show it. Matrix stuff. I agree that most men are not aware of this, I see guys putting pussy on pedestal all the time and have a low opinion about themselves. And it's not about money, I see guys with money, cars and good jobs who don't invest in themselves, their look or self love.

She talks about showing anger and how attractive that is. These days I wonder if that trait is weakness or strength. I was planning to make a thread about that topic. Getting angry = emotional = not calm under pressure. I'm ok when you need to defend yourself but I was always kind of unresponsive, non reactive on provocations and many other stuff. I always thought that if you give your attention and get upset when they "poke" you, you lose. My attention was always expensive, I don't give it cheaply. I would like to know how you guys think about this.

The video is interesting but I always come back to " Never listen advice from a female." If you check her other videos she mention that another attractive trait for men is to initiate contact, show attention, give compliments etc. if not then you put yourself in a "girl position" and women don't want that. I don't have a problem to share compliment, I'm cool about it but some dudes could get her advice wrong.

Say you are sitting somewhere with you purpose/mission,
drawing a picture, or practicing the guitar or whatever...

You're more likely the one getting the attention.

You could just go back to your purpose with no hard feelings.

If women think you're 8 or above, it's hard for them to stay smart.
Remember-icus, fuckboys "happen" to 'smart' women.

(I can see my comment from 3 years ago on one of the the vid) ...

...back to Minecraft creative mode

Idk I've been thinking of this lately, when I try take the mentality of being 'the best' or that 'confidence' = power — I find myself get disconnected from other people, get in my head rather than the moment, and.. become kind of stiff and unfriendly. Speaking for myself here and my own experiments: but my thinking is that confidence isn't a feeling or thinking you're 'the best'; it's just really being okay with yourself with all your feelings/flaws... including not feeling confident at times and not thinking you're the best at all. Just me - I understand if it works for other people, but psyching myself up to feel like the shit / or having to think I'm 'the best' / or needing to be really 'confident' all on some level have this message: "you need to be different than you are".

Was at the climbing gym earlier tonight, lots of people. Lots of guys and girls. And I just know that I'm not the best - I'm just one of the many. And that's fine - not every girl is going to choose me, but there are more than enough that will. When I'm trying to keep to the 'I'm the best' mentality though I realise that I'm actually trying to control the outcome, and make others like/ want me because of it.

Just trying to figure this out myself too, just sharing my current thinking ;)

I agree with you. I think she meant that she really appreciates when a guy just is himself: if he's really angry and expresses it authentically. I don't think there is a hard and fast rule though — if you're really unaffected by the shenanigans than that's a sign of power or indifference, and if you're really angry about something and you express it so is that. I guess my thinking is that the strength is in the authenticity — being bothered could say there's something I need to work on to get over it, or that there behaviour really isn't something acceptable to me.

(Edit)

To Add: You are 'the best' always and anyways.. 'the best Moltisanti' / 'the best Hineini'.. that's the place I want to focus too: on being the best me that I can be. I can behind that 100%. :)

Regarding the comments on anger, watch her video on blindspots, then re-watch this one

This is what I mean, maybe I just wrote it wrong. It's not being perfect or feeling better than others, it's not arrogant. More like know and accept yourself, love and respect yourself.. knowing who you are and what you represent, staying in your lane not comparing or competing with others. I have trouble to describe it with words really

I think you did it nicely.

Just wanted to add the distinction having noticed myself and others misdirect energy that way before.

You can not draw your identity from the women who choose you either.
So, 'there's plenty of fish in the sea' is a fuckup in a sense.
You are you.

It just clicked for me why it's called "becoming a man" when you're with a woman for the first time. It has the potential to be true, at least...

When she submits to you, you really need to step up and give her what she needs. Embracing that scary feeling of leaving the little boy behind. You better be ready.

I'm also reminded of an insight. When your dog is agitated and nervous – barking and running around all the time seemingly for no reason – most likely it's because they don't know what you want them to do. The pressure of being in charge of themselves becomes too stressful for them, and similarly to women, a firm and calm direction enables them instead to let go, and snuggle up to your secure and comforting energy.

Thanks for sharing these videos, guys
