Haha you got me 'Grinus!
Gather round, boys...story time.
I always had a hunch that her older sister was the most instrumental in driving the wedge between us. She is bonafidely crazy...as in has gone to ex boyfriend houses, put their clothes in a bathtub, poured bleach all over them then set his house on fire. I would always ask my ex why is she taking relationship advice from a woman who can't keep a man around to save her life...my ex would always respond that she was her older sister so she listened to her...I told her that is like me taking advice from my mom on how to fix my car solely based on the fact that she's my mom.
I was able to deflect that "Sibling Salt" (as I like to call it) quite easily for quite some time...until I had an 'incident' that through me into a sever state of depression for almost 2 years and was vulnerable. Needless to say she took full advantage of the situation (they both did).
One time I came over to visit, and my ex was on the phone with that bitch. She spoke into the phone, "Oh, Kidd!! is here..."...and then I could literally here the sister yelling through the phone, "WHAT IS HE DOING THERE?!? I TOLD YOU NOT TO BE AROUND HIM!! YOU MAKE HIM LEAVE NOW!!"...it was amazingly ridiculous.
The day we did formally end it (my son was like 4 months old and she basically dumped me), I told her to congratulate her sister for me as she had successfully poisoned her mind to get what she (the sister) ultimately wanted. My ex always denied that she ever took her sister's advice...yeah whatever. I know that she is going to silently regret letting me go for the rest of her natural life. That alone is revenge enough for me...oh, that and my lovely keeper.
