I haven't gotten deep enough to truly understand it. This is something I was planning on asking the Church Father about. so there's that... That's funny
So God is a Trinity...Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Humanity is a Trinity as well because we were made in His image. We have a body, soul and spirit. Where it gets more interesting is that your soul is also a trinity in itself. Your soul is your heart, your will, and your mind. But who am I? The awareness that gives voice to the words I think and type. Does my consciousness reside in my heart or in my spirit? Questions to ponder  I found this. Since the holy fathers knew that through internal activity it is easy to put all the external virtues in order, they left off external activity and devoted all their effort to internal watchfulness, and so on.
