The new Robert Greene book as got me thinking pretty deeply on this.

Ever since I was a little kid I've loved to solve things and figure out how stuff works, all the inner work and learning to stop bullets meshes so well with my personality because on a deep level it aligns with who I am.

In terms of career, the path I'm on right now will lead to eventually to an inside job, doing quite well, and having the majority of my work day as free time. Getting 12 hour days but maybe doing 3-4 hours work which will give me time to create and focus on the next step.

But I am not quite sure what the next step is yet. I want to create stuff, but I don't know what. I've thought about real estate as part of the way to move me toward the lifestyle I really want. Owning apartments eventually or something.

Or creating a social fad something that would do well short term and make a profit but maybe not long term.

Thoughts?

i feel the same

i think it takes form by itself, i don't know how to expess it. but to me is like starting living as if my childhood dreams became true, but if somebody says to you how to do it then you are not creating, it also resonates with what roark posted here.

However, let me warn you - your inner demons will pop up after a while, and it may even be SCARY AS FUCK. What I am doing is remembering that I AM THE ONE WHO PUT THEM THERE (fear, shame, embarrassment, self loathing, hate, etc.) Personally, what I am doing is offering them the opportunity to come back up into the illuminated (conscious) parts of my mind, welcoming them back to a place at my dinner table so to speak, BECAUSE THAT IS WHERE THEY BELONG, AND DESERVE TO BE:

Come back home, fellas. We have work to do - TOGETHER (in other words, once integrated into the conscious parts of my mind, I figure these demons will give me far greater power; not just with women, but with my work, passions, etc.....)

No surprises there 8-)

There's just something about patterns and anticipating the next logical move I cannot even describe how much it lines up.

I'll find my own niche maybe invent a game or something.

I never liked puzzles, I need fast paced games (or heavy storyline games), TPS shooters the best, GunZ the duel my favorite (5 keys per second avrg).. How can you guys sit for so long in one place and think about some logical puzzle ?

So basically...you can draw pictures of women for hours on end...but when it comes to gaming, you prefer knee jerk reflexes over long term strategy...instant gratification over watching foresight work to your advantage...interesting. :geek:

...nor am I surprised...not one bit. :ugeek:

When it comes to poker I am patient and can wait the best situation to use opponent's weaknesses, If I know about them.. But yeah spot on on that, but drawing women was ego gratification too.. But I'm naturally not patient AT ALL, i'm surprised I managed to be, I'm very impulsive and spontaneous

You should write a book about reading stuff from what people say, like this :geek:

It´s easy, but the callus on my ass went for a vacation,
it couldn´t stand it I think... It got bored. I win.

Plus about speed, I can pick 21 notes per second;
Flight of the Bumble Bee 300 Beats per minute. Guitar.
