Recently due to the fact that I know pretty much no one in Edmonton. I decided to try social networking sites.
Talked to a couple people. The main thing I'm finding is that its hard to establish any kind of rapport. It's really hard to vibe over just text without ever having met someone. The amount of messages you send is quite high compared to the number of responses you get.
I have this one girl on Facebook now the fact that she added me, and we talked for about 20 min on FB is a pretty good indicator of interest. We exchanged numbers, and when I went to call her her number didn't save soo I msged her being like yeah, sorry your number didn't save here's mine again send me a text and I'll call you maybe we can grab a drink after your done work.
She never responded though, and I'm not gonna respond till she breaks the silence.
Anythoughts?
Edit: Oh and when she asked what I did. I said yeah i work for Kalvin Klein. Not a big deal. And she said I totally fell for it, you take that as a compliment. Complete with smiley face
