I should have gave more information.

I thought about the shit before I did it.

Later in the night I did the same thing with another female.

it was obvious this second female didn't have her phone on her, and I didn't feel like waiting on her to go up 5 floors of stairs and come back down since it was 2am.

In both situations, I had the same feeling, but there were different contributing reasons.

My gut also didn't tell me it was wrong in both situations.

I also felt fine just giving my number. I don't know the best way to define the feeling, convenience and speed?

I realized I do this passing strangers on the street. I've been doing some observing and digging in my mind to figure out why, but no matter how hard I try I always need to do a quick peek to see if the girl I'm passing is checking me out or to see if the guy I'm passing is cooler than me/a threat, or even to see if (crazy) the group I'm passing is making fun of me.

I'm putting these strangers and what they think on a pedestal and am very subtly concerned about what they think or don't think of me

It's human nature to be interested in what people think of you. The problem is that people always see things in absolutes. They either are slaves to what they think people think of them. Or they realize it and rebel completely against it, which reveals they still care.

It's good to be paying attention to who digs you and who is a possible threat.
