Last night i tried an experiment.I went out and bought a Marc Ecko fleece sports coat to wear to the club.When i was in high school i used to dress like a thug but as i got older i grew out of it and have been dressing Metrosexual ever since (now 27).I tried this because alot of the Latina and white women influenced by hip hop culture seem to go for black men who dress like that.So i put on the new jacket and went to the club with a more retro look.I leaned back on the wall and acted like i was not interested in dancing with anyone and like a laid back G.Well it turned out i didn't get any women approaching me and very few if none looking at me.There was a tall black dude standing next to me he was about 6"3 and this white chick pushed her gf towards our direction and i was expecting her to push her into me but instead pushed into the tall guy standing right next to me so she can grind him.At that moment i was really hurt.My internal thought was that it was because this dude was much taller and more thug looking.Anyways, i realized the mistake i made was trying to dress like someone who i am not. I'm going back to dressing like a rennasance man and will start experimenting with different environment where women appreciate a normal dressed black man and not a thug.Also i am going to have to be less passive and start approaching women and being direct like David X.I think its possible to be direct and unattached to the outcome.

You're kinda taking the scenic route, but I give you points for perseverance.

I have been to burlington coat factory twice once to buy something and another time to return something.I have seen this chick at the register who is about a 6 jockin me and giving me the looks...I have given her space and not tried to get at her..I was thinking today going back there and telling her that this is the third time i have seen you now and i have say i really like your energy..i think you would you make a good friend (put her in the friendszone) and then ask for her facebook.. What do you guys think of this idea?

Girls get friend zoned if they do something bad or you don't like them.

Morpheus can you please explain this one to me?Are you saying i should keep giving her the glare and not ask for anything..isnt there gonna be a time where i am supposed to ask her out?I don't understand why she would think i don't have self belief, i thought it shows that you have balls to tell her to hit you up

It's weird because your giving her way too much attention to simply friendzone her.

Went to the bar last night after work..There were about 20 people there and all of them where part of a social circle at work..One of the guys that i ran into was there all over those girls he was in his 40s and could be old enough to be some of there dad..I am sure he got social proof because they all worked together..Anyways as an experiment i decided to wear contacts and i was getting eyed by a few chicks..I have also been growing out jawline sideburns.One of them held eye contact with me for a good 3 seconds as she walked out the door. I didn't approach anyone since they all know each other.Lesson of the night,looks do matter to women.Maybe its not the only thing,but I felt confident because of my appearance.
