In the cantine I sat down to eat my (hospital) lasagne which was "okay". To my right is a good looking woman, red hair and a nice face that wasn't nice enough for me to ignore her cleavage for too long. I paid no attention to her and ate my lasagne when suddenly the woman to my right starts to hiccup and I, before I knew better, was surprised because I hiccup nearly every time I eat there and I point it out "That happens to me all the time, I didn't know others were afflicted with such a thing!" And she agrees, right at that moment her hiccups magically disappear. She finishes her food and gives me a sentence to the point of "Nice talking to you" in a way that makes out that we'd had a riveting conversation. You: But alas! You didn't get her number! I didn't feel right so I didn't bother. |

Don't worry about closing ANYTHING right now...experience is good enough in your current environment...apply what you've learned once you're outta there. ![]() |

FUCK THE NUMBER!There, I said it. You sowed a non needy casual seed. That in my view is good. You also managed to connect with her, from her response. So Bravo! |

I don't usually give examples but yesterday at work, I remarked to a female colleague about how I left my house keys in my draw in the office. She told me that I should have texted her. Though it's the oldest trick in the book, I didn't see it for miles (because I honestly couldn't care less). Confused, I told her that I didn't have her number. She then told me that I should have it and as quickly as she could she started looking for a pen and paper, neither of which she could locate (meaning that she'd been considering it for a very long time). Finally she wrote her number down and gave it to me. We've known each other for two weeks. I haven't called her (because honestly, I couldn't care less). |

Sadly some guys dismiss these signs as just nice gestures. Girls never do anything they don't want to do...or need to do.

Thank you all for clearing all that up, I thought it was a bad thing that I didn't get her number, when in reality I just didn't feel like getting one. I'm out of the hospital now and am recovering. One thing happened to me today was I was walking along a footpath and opposite me coming in my direction with intent to pass me by were to women I barely know. They weren't looking at me or anything but as I got closer to them I felt this strange feeling in my legs, like an emotion but it felt "clean" for lack of a better word. Once I walked passed, none of them even glancing at me, I remembered that one of those women used to have a thing for me and I'm guessing still does. Its weird, they don't even have to look at you! I have a feeling that I have a future ahead of me where a woman struggles to find a pen for me to get her number pretty soon. |

Keep it in reality mang. I have a habit of fantasy thoughts too. Chances are that you will not notice the female's attempt to snag you.Almost no matter how overt it is because women are naturally subtle and weave their moves into everyday life. They're very adept.
