Post subject: | So you want to be unstoppable? |
For my own repetition, and hopefully to someone else's gain, I'll share the essence of what I have learned this far (reposted). PART I So you want to be unstoppable? I’ll give you are recipe for feeling unstoppable. A recipe that will make you leap out of bed in the morning, keep you smiling and laughing all day and make you quiver when the day is over and you have to go to bed. All of a sudden you’ll find yourself approaching a woman hoping she’ll resist. Hoping she’ll make you work for it. It’s too boring otherwise. You’ll volunteer for the hardest tasks at work or in school. Or you’ll take on more tasks than any sane person would expect anybody can handle. And you’ll ace it all. Just because you can. I’ll show you where the juice is coming from. Note that this is not something I copied from some website. I live this every day. I’ve lived all of these bullet points on and off for the last 5 years and I’ve noticed what makes the difference and what doesn’t. This is not a load of philosophical nonsense. This is empirically tested (one exception, I’ll tell you later), if that means anything to a load of scumbag pirates like the lot of you. I know it doesn’t to me. I’d just trust it and be on my merry way. Ready? Allright, put on some juicy music and read on. Now. This is number 1. All of the following ingredients can be done in this very moment, and it is crucial that you take action. Right NOW. I’ll leave you with a couple of examples and the words of a giant: “The road to some day leads to a town called nowhere.” Example of Now (1): Last week, I hosted a beer tasting with a couple of friends. Turns out all three of us had entertained the thought of brewing beer. That was the founding day of our brewery. I immediately found some books on beer and ordered a book on home brewing from the library (I mean, immediately, as in the moment we started taking about it). Today I received prices on utilities from one of the other brewmasters and later this week we are getting together to plan it out and buy the stuff we need. Example of Now (2): Today, I was having lunch with a buddy of mine and we started talking about motorcycles. We started discussing traveling by motorcycle. None of us have the license for it, and none of us have the money needed to get it right now. So I said: ‘You know what. Fuck it. Lets do it.’ I picked up my little black book and I wrote it down in the back of it where I schedule my dreams so that they won’t disappear. In other words, where I make them real. I wrote: ‘Travel by motorcycle with ……’. I started saving money today. In the moment I decided to do it, I had already gone. He might bail, I don’t know, but I’m already there. Pretty easy this far eh? That’s actually the hard one, and it’s the one that will make all the difference. Without Now, there is nothing. Next. Work out and diet. What time is it? Is it before midnight or after 5 in the morning? Then make yourself a promise right now: After you read this article, go to the gym or go for a run or MOVE. Sweat. Sweat like a pig. There are hundreds of ways of doing this. I lift weights, run, row and stretch. Those are the four main activities for me. I try to mix it up every once in a while, but make sure I can follow progress. Work out 5-7 days a week. You have the time. I’ll tell you why you have the time later. In addition, eat healthy. Self-explanatory. If you don’t know anything about your body, working out or diet, then start studying. It’s fascinating. If you can work out 5-7 days a week and eat healthy you’ll start feeling unstoppable in a week. You’ll feel strong, healthy, vital and energized. It does something to a man when he feels strong and healthy, it radiates. And all of a sudden you can’t keep yourself away from the gym. It just feels too good. Be still. This is the best advice anybody has given on this forum. There is true power in being still, if you can take it. Do you dare, or even, do you allow yourself to listen to your thoughts? Have you ever noticed how agonizing it is to be still when you’re unhappy? It’s uncomfortable and unsettling. You wanna know what it’s like when you’re feeling unstoppable? It’s not called ‘being still’ anymore, it’s called ‘bliss out’. Sitting down and pausing is the most pleasurable action you can perform (with certain exceptions indeed) when you’re happy. It’s just a massive orgy of happy pictures and thoughts. You’ll feel like there is nothing you can’t handle. You´ll start inviting challenges just to see if there is anything out there you cannot, in fact, handle. Just sit down and dream for a while. Think about who you are and what you want to do. Then ask yourself: ‘How would Now be a good time to do that?’. Journal. I mentioned my little black book earlier. The place where I make the stuff I dream up real. That is just my little day-to-day planner. Every time I think of something that I want done or want to do or am going to do I stop what I am doing and write it down. Then I can forget about it and it’ll be there when I have the time. That little black book is always within reach. In addition, I have a journal where I put my thoughts on paper if they are especially demanding. That way I can look at it and reflect. It is also a place for celebration and joy. For my eyes only. Take time – Have time. Not too long ago I wrote about not distracting yourself with computers, tv-shows, the Internet and all the other noise out there. Unless it is driven by purpose, don’t do it. There’s nothing wrong with having a job working online or researching a topic on the Internet or watching an interesting documentary or even a great TV-show. What’s wrong is distracting yourself from what’s really going on in your life. Escaping into the some alternate reality because it is too agonizing to hear your own thoughts. When you stop distracting yourself, you’ll take the time, you’ll have the time. It is yours to invest in the life you want to create for yourself. It’ll calm you down. It is revolution. |

PART II Learn. Borrow a brilliant book. Sign up for classes. Start practicing tango with the Argentinean woman you’ve noticed around. Start brewing beer. Take a job as a grape picker at the local vineyard. Basejump. Study. Grow. I am absolutely certain that there are 100s of topic you are interested in out there, but as of now you might be too caught up in distractions and jumping through hoops to see the forest for the trees. I promise you though, when you start working that treadmill, lift those weights, sit down and ponder who you are and what you want for yourself, when you start getting excited, really excited, ecstatic, enthusiastic and juiced. When you start feeling that well being brewing inside of you. When you just can’t help but smile and you start wondering how much pleasure you can possibly stand – you’ll discover 100s and 1000s of topics that you didn’t even know existed. They will stand out like a mountain in Denmark. And you’ll want to climb them all, just because you know you can. After all, you have the time. And you know you’ll ace it. Help others. The Virtue Of Selfishness was written by Ayn Rand. What is it? It is pursuing pleasure, recognizing that pleasure is an end in and of itself. To rephrase what Johnny Soporno said in SR101, altruism makes the altruists feel good’. Now, lets see, we’ve already established that you have the time, so why don’t you help that woman who slipped on the ice? Why don’t you help those students carry that ridiculously large IKEA-bed up the 5 flights of stairs? Why don’t you ask whether they need a hand? Why don’t you make use of your money and save one life a year by donating 5% of your earnings? You don’t need that TV anyway. That kid really needs his treatment for the measles. At least he needs it more than you need your TV. Altruism? Philanthropy? Call it what you wish. It will make you feel fucking awesome. It makes me laugh everyday and talk to every woman I’d like to talk to and take on every challenge I want to take on. It will make you feel unstoppable. And it’ll make you forget all times you in fact aren’t. Smile and Laugh By now you’ll realize that this sentence is redundant. You’ll be grinning like a mongoloid if you follow the aforementioned recipe for two weeks. It means: be cheerful! Be happy and tell your face about it. Be polite. We may be pirates, but we are still charming, and we are still gentlemen. Hold open doors. Compliment her. Carry her into your bedroom. You know, basic stuff. Alcohol/Drugs Limit the use or quit. These are depressants and will do you limited good. Quit drinking when you’re at your best. When you’re unstoppable you won’t need to drink to be at your best. People will think you are high all the time. Stay tuned. Do you know who Hosni Mubarak is? Do you know what the ‘last’ dictatorship in Europe is? Do you know what the middle name of the president of the United States is? Is the economy better or worse than it was five years ago? You know what I’m saying. Read a newspaper a day. A good one. Know what is happening in the world. In addition, read specialized magazines for your interests. Mine are ‘Economist’ and a Norwegian wine magazine. Friends. Treat your friends. Take good care of them. Remember what they mean to you. Explore the world with them. Discuss and make plans. For instance, I have two friends that I’ll brew beer with. That is what we do. That’s our adventure. I have another who I cook with. Every week or so, we meet up and make something we’ve never made before. We experiment with beverages that goes with it. Another I philosophize with – about everything. Just pure exploration. Another is very interested in history and politics, so we sit down and discuss. Others live in different cities but we call each other and listen to each other and plan to meet up. We talk about what was and recognize the bond we have. Company is important. Economy. Well, this is a new one for me. I’ve never decided to have a healthy economy before, whatever that means to you. My goal is to save money this year, no matter how little the sum. My goal is +. It feels good for some reason. I don’t know why yet to be honest. Flirt and Fall In Love. By now this is a no-brainer. Flirting is automatic when you’re this happy. When you can’t help but smile, talking to that cute woman is like picking up oysters at your local seafood shop. And then, fall is love with her. For a moment. For a day. For a week or a month. Maybe a lifetime. I don’t know. It’ll make you vibrate. I promise. This is how easy it is. Right now. |

Well, at least we know where is was re-posted from now. We may be pirates, but we are still charming, and we are still gentlemen. Hold open doors. Compliment her. Carry her into your bedroom. You know, basic stuff. ![]() Your forum name does look familiar...how are Hans and company doing nowadays? All told, I like most of this list...really sums up a productive lifestyle quite nicely...except for the whole fall in love with a woman thing. You can leave that baloney back on the boat you came from. ![]() Around here we are more about having a woman on our terms, rather than conforming to hers. It might be a radical shift for you, so take some time to mull it over. That kind of thinking got me put out from Zan Land...but here...these guys 'get it'...and I hope you will too. ![]() I strongly suggest you peruse the "Questions and Feedback" section for a snapshot of how we generally think around here...then, if that suits your fancy okayish, try to digest some of "Kidd'z Korner". ![]() Other than that, welcome. ![]() |

I remember you too Kidd, and I also remember agreeing with the lot of your writing. You seem to have a great place here. I can already tell there is no point in discussing love here, although my definition of love probably diverges from the one that made all respondents in this thread shiver. At least I hope so ![]() I'll check out the other sections.

It's her life, and it'll probably make my life that much easier. I know I'll meet other women. |

hey Ginsengen, we are not so much into Zan's school of thought here (reasons mentioned above). Anyway I don't know how you define 'Love' but I suggest you read the value theory threads: http://www.naturalfreedom.info/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=899 http://www.naturalfreedom.info/viewtopi ... =17&t=1396 |

I'm saying when a dude falls in love he sets himself up for a world of hurt and betrayal.
I see what you're saying. I'm not sure one excludes the other though. If her sleeping with other men doesn't make a difference to you then you're not in love and you're coming from a good place.

Ginsengen, mostly I liked it ![]() I will leave it to others to pick it apart, as they are doing. However also notice the parts they are not picking apart. Now I see where I remember the name from. Again, welcome, find a comfortable chair and take your own advice and do some reading and learn.. See what resonates with you from within the posts on this place and embrace them. |
