Wendell Beckwith lived alone on Whitewater Lake, north of Armstrong, Ontario, conducting 'pure research' into the nature of time and space. This film, a partnership between the Thunder Bay Museum and filmmaker Jim Hyder, explores the life of this fascinating figure, the relationships he forged with local First Nations people, canoe trippers and others, and his scientific pursuits.
