Transhumanism is being put forward as a solution to death, merging with AI as a way to become God ourselves. The more you see it in movies and in the mainstream the more desensitized you become to it.

The ironic part is Adam and Eve were already immortal and they were like God being made in his image.

I think it's mostly the rhythm of the song that mesmerizes people. Also, of interest, the Orthodox believe that the mind (known as the nous) is the eye of the soul and responsible for governing the inner man (which I think means heart) and the will. :geek:
