Title: Lateral Thinking: Creativity Step by Step Author: Edward De Bono Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Lateral-Thinking- ... 0060903252 - This was an interesting book on creativity and thinking "outside the box". Mr. De Bono is well educated on the subject as he has published books on the subject like a printing press would; he has a ton of other books that seem interesting as well. I read through this somewhat 'fast'; I will be rereading it again in the future and taking my time with it. It is mentioned in the book itself that 'this is not a book to be finished quickly'. Instead, it is a skill (lateral thinking is) to be practiced and honed. A basic "lateral thinking exercises" search on Google will bring you a variety of sites that offer word puzzles which help in practicing your new skill. They're really interesting as well. |
