Okay, now is the time. (8h later, plus I just ate an ice-cream :mrgreen: )

This was a truly beautifully made documentary.

They took the crux of his books, his life, and condensend it to 1h20 minutes.

They didn't miss the REAL message behind his books.

As opposed to (surprinsingly ?) fufe, I like the 'calm' daughter (Misty) way more than the other (Camille).

I will go as far as to suspect the interviewer, seeing as she couldn't even start a phrase without her sister interrupting ('she's all over the place' to quote :lol: ) and putting the spotlight on her, came later on to interview her alone and get her view too :lol:

I always thought Bill Duke would have played a Magnificent version of Sweets, based on his description and demeanor in the book, then to see him as a part of the cast of the documentary.... :mrgreen:

You can tell that some of Cavanaugh Slim's game rubbed off on Camille. Also, you must keep in mind that Camille talks of him as a god because she is the first child. Misty is the youngest child and didn't know him as well.

[Edddiittt: Did no one wonder why she was caught with 10 kilos of cocaine in the documentary? Damn, she was in the game. It would be terrible karma if Camille entered into prostitution after her father left pimping.

Gripping viewing.

I have read PIMP and Trick Baby but none of the others yet, I shall definitely
be revisiting both.

Biggest takeaway I got that hasn't already been mentioned was:
