My body is stiff with all this work, mental and physical!
I've dabbled with yoga at school and it was pleasurable and relaxing.
It's summer now and schools no longer is session.

Anyone recommend any yoga instruction videos to follow along?
I'm gonna go home after work and see what's on Netflix.

Love yoga, do it once a week and it really helps with the aches and pains that come with lifting.

A friend really had to twist my arm but brought me to a "Yoga on the Beach" class and I was surprised at how good it made me feel.

P.S. every stereotype is true, it is usually me, one other gay dude and lots of beautiful women 8-)

That's how it was at school too! :)

I'm surprised tai chi would have that same ratio.

Yeah, it's really good done it off and on...working on integrating it in to be a regular thing.

Has anyone heard about yoga making you 'taller' truth or another Internet myth?

In the same way that hanging by your ankles will.

Allows the spine to relax.

Purely temporary

Yes, purely temporary.
I was obsessed about getting taller when I was younger.
Nothing is permanent in that department, unless you get knee extensions. :?

Update on the Yoga...

I dabbled with Rodney Yee's Yoga for Beginners.
It was a nice beginner course, but to fast paced for my taste.
Didn't allow enough time to hold each pose if you where going to go with the video.

I'm going to practice Yoga for Beginners.
I'll write back when I give it a go.

Yoga for Beginners

The above is nice beginner DVD for those who are interested in Yoga.

Barbara has a nice relaxing voice and her presence in the DVD is a relaxing one.
The ocean and waves behind her in every scene make for better ambiance.
The background music for each pose is relaxing.
She slowly goes through each pose and allows you to stay in each one for a period of time.
The DVD is laid out in a nice format with an introduction, instructions, and list of routines to do with approximate time to complete each one.
