So I started reading this book and honestly my initial feeling is.......that Esther took a basketball from close range (within 5 feet) threw it at me and hit me in the deeuck. That is the type of pain I feel. Everything I though about women & what they represented, is wrong. |

The firmer your grasp on reality the more able you are to alter it for your purposes. Sucks at the time but it'll fade and your mind will be sharper than those around you. |

A few quotes that were heavy hitters for me: If a woman leaves the university with an engagement ring on her finger, she has earned her degree; The only truly important act in any woman's life is the selection of the right partner. In any other choice she can afford to make a mistake. It she breaks off her studies and marries a university lecturer, she has achieved the same level as he has without exerting herself --- This one ESPECIALLY because I have a good friend who is a manager at my work (he's older than I) and the youngest & best looking chick in his department started to date him. I wonder why??? LOL. Needless to say, it turned into a disaster! |
