I have noticed a few patters that has to do with what we are talking about as far as 'Love' , the Value theory, symping, and the brainwash of Holywood movies. if anyone saw that movie please reply and then I'll share my thoughts.... |

I loved this film (minus the love story), great concept though, to be able to see that far into the future. I'm looking forward to when my mind works like that book they have. |

Yea but let's talk about the Love story for a moment. They were trying to put in a classic Love holywood story in this Film. I'm looking forward to when my mind works like that book they have. Now let's get real: She was attracted to Matt Damon because of his social status and social value. She didn't love him for Him. He wanted to give up his politician career because of Her and made Her the most importent thing in his life- in the real world that would turn off the woman immediately and he woud lose her the next day. Actually he acted like a symp throughout all the movie making her the most importent thing in the world and in his life. and in the real world: that's excaly what turns women Off. Also, if she got famous in her dancing career do you think she would just dump everything to be with him? hell no So it was a good film minus All the love story |

Hm I thought the attraction in this movie was mutual and not based on just status but maybe that's just me..... Cheesy as it sounds, her 'love' for him reignited when he went back for her, which is classic hollywood inception but it could also be seen as she was attracted to him not because of his status as such but moreso because of his character, I could very well be wrong on this one. Your points are valid but I think this is also a case of your ego on auto-pilot equating it to a real-life scenario. |

He portrayed a very sympish character so it was not so much his character that she was attracted to....once he said: I'd give up everything just to be with Her- in real life that's a blow |

Wow....I didn't remember him saying that haha!!! This is the type of shit that instills arrogance in women, like she's worthy of great sacrifice by virtue of being a woman....*cringe* Good to know you have a sense of humor about it now dude. |
