Continuing the stream of thought...
Some giving is really about yourself - like giving space, giving the freedom to choose, giving people an acceptance for their humanness regardless of their behaviour.
It's not something that I want to give conditionally, but to give unconditionally - in accordance with my own values. It is for me.
I will say that I think that relates to indifference. My way of behaving isn't conditional on someone else's bad behaviour.
And that doesn't mean not addressing bad behaviour.
In some ways I am reminded of Grinus post on
