Sometimes being able to see makes you blind.

Sometimes being blind allows you to see.

it's very interesting, being an outcast makes you go further than the average people, that's why you can see some people with physical limitations living more happy than a regular guy.

that's what i see in that quote, but i think my view is kinda superficial ;)

I myself was once an outcast...which made me force myself to understand the behind the scenes of many things that non-outcasts take for granted...and now you, fellow outcasts, are benefitting from the fruit of my labor. 8-)

I take it you mean by being able to literally see that there are things going on much deeper than you can pick up going on behind the scenes and people are oblivious to these things, Because the lack of awareness.

I take it you mean being blind can help you see in a metaphorical sense and that everything is clear to you I guess as the kidd and rant put it being an outcast allows you to see all the dynamics while others have it naturally people like ourselves who have to work at it can truly appreciate it.

You'e kinda off on the first point...but dead on on the second.

The first sentence is basically a reference to the oblivious...the non-outcasts. Since what they see is a rather comfortable environment anyway, they have to reason to delve into The Matrix...therefore even though they see what they see, they canNOT see the behind the scenes. Then, when certain things happen that I can explain, they cannot. :geek:

It is metaphorical.

It is also literal.

Being blind can allow you to see more, your other senses are heightened.

Being able to see can allow you to see less, your other senses are lessened.

It is amazing the belief that people put into their use of sight and how much it can obscure the other senses. They will believe what they see over what their other senses pickup.
