I often do this myself, and so I saw doing it someone here (http://www.naturalfreedom.info/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=991).

It is, the thing. That I, make something as 2 option, while it actually has 2 times 2 options init I can both make a decision on. It's a common fault I make, and see other make.
Also often the 2 times 2 options are totally unrelated twoards each other. It's poor logic, imo.

For instance, like here
Quote:
This is my life and my journey and other people are just lucky to tag along.
is this one too egotistic or is it good enough?
It seems it is presented as though, there are only 2 options presented:
1. living your life as you want and let people tag along.
2. Or if you think it's to egotistical: living your life as more as another want and let people tag along.
WTF. has the: other people tagging along to do in the equation? It's imo unrelated, unrelated towards wether to live your life you want or not.

To options are inthis example actually:
1. live you life as you want.
2. live your life like another person wants you to live it.
And (totally unrelated to the first one)
1. Do you let, (or try to make/find) people to tag along with (some) activities you do.
2. Do you not let, (or try to make/find) people tag along with (some) activities you do.

Anyways. A common fault when a person tries to make a decision about something. Is that they see something as 1 option. While it is not 1 option. But it has 2 totally seperated options, that you can bdecide on.
Like what I sometimes hear people say to me, when talking about being rich. "Well if you're rich but not healthy, you don't have anything" Bringing in an total unrelated option in the equation of the option; rich or not rich; so to make a point about the first option. I see no common sense in that.
