Im the only male nurse in the ER at my hospital, i hear talks of equality and how women get treated in a working enviroment all the time in the break room, wich is totally cool, but then i get told the craziest shit.
"You should lube up and dance at the staff party next weekend, people would like it haha"
"You should date my daughter, she needs a serious and nice guy like you" (same colleague have told me this over 20 times even tho i have said no, im dating someone else)
Stop being fucking hypocrites, stop behaving this way, if men did that to a woman who was the only woman at the workplace, it would be a shitstorm.
I dont really get offended, i laugh it off usually because i dont care, but if i did report it id probably get laughed at or get socially "frozen out" of the group. Stop being pushy and make sexist implications when you would rage if someone did it to you or your daughter, im here to work long hours in the ER, not to listen to your bullshit, be professional.
Shame on you.
This is not just for the OP, all the thread is either funny or intriguing.
